Gator Gallop 2017

The Gator Gallop is back again this school year, this time in the fall! It is a fun and exciting running event that the students always love! It’s hosted by Gower’s PTO, as a school fundraiser. All of the students will run during their related arts time. Again this year, all students will receive a free t-shirt! Parents and friends are encouraged to attend and cheer them on as they run for fun! We have added an additional prize for each grade! Read below for details!!!

Students will be able to show their support for the Gator Gallop by raising money to receive a chain necklace with charms to be added as they turn in money! Here are the specifics…
The first $5 they raise will get them the necklace and one gator charm.
For every $10 raised AFTER the initial $5, students will receive an additional charm. We encourage students to wear their charm necklaces daily to show support for the fundraiser! Students may turn in money as they raise and receive it!
In addition, we will be having a drawing after the Gator Gallop!!! For every $20 a student raises, that student will get ONE entry into the drawing. We will be giving away 1 new bicycle per grade level! This year a 2^nd place drawing per grade level has been added! Pre-K-2^ndwill win a scooter, 3^rd and 4^th grade will win an activity tracker!
ONE SPECIAL GRAND PRIZE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE STUDENT RAISING THE HIGHEST AMOUNT OF MONEY!! (Exciting Prize TBA!!!)
The class in each grade level that raises the most money will win a popsicle party, and a special prize for their teacher!
The boy and girl in each grade that runs the most laps will also be rewarded with a very special charm!
